Terms and Conditions of Sales

The person making the booking acknowledges, by making payment, that they have read, understood, and explicitly accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale and contractual conditions. All lessons must be paid in advance.

BOOKING
Booking is confirmed upon payment of the lesson fee and acceptance of the contractual conditions. For any advance bookings and online payments, they can only be made by credit or prepaid card. Bank transfers are not accepted, except in cases specifically authorised by our office.

CANCELLATION / WITHDRAWAL
Under current law, online bookings do not provide for a right of withdrawal.
However, it is possible to withdraw from a lesson booked online within 48 hours of payment.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@vajolet.it.

No refunds are available (even in case of withdrawal) if the lesson is purchased and paid less than 8 days before the start date.

We recommend the “Snowcare Lesson” travel insurance policy to cover missed departures or other unforeseen events.

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS

GENERAL

• Each lesson lasts 55 minutes and takes place in all weather conditions.

• The price of the lesson does not include equipment or skipass.

• Skiers must have a valid third-party liability insurance covering damage or injury caused to others (pursuant to Art. 30 D.Lgs. n. 40/2021). Personal accident insurance is also recommended.

• The meeting point for all lessons, both private and group, is on Ski Area Buffaure, next to our office. All minors under 18 must be accompanied to the “meeting point” flag and picked up from the same location at the end of the lessons.

Lessons, whether private or group, take place in any weather conditions. In the event of total ski lift closure, lessons not held will not be refunded but can be rescheduled, even in other ski areas.

From winter 2025, the use of helmets is mandatory for all skiers.

GROUP LESSONS

• Group lessons cannot be converted into private lessons.

• When registering, age and level categories indicated on our website must be respected; we are not responsible for the levels declared by participants during registration.

• All group lessons require a minimum number of participants per level and type. If there are fewer than 5 participants per level, the school reserves the right to shorten the course duration, reducing lesson hours as per the table displayed in the office.

• Trial days are non-refundable.

• Refunds are only possible upon presentation of the receipt issued at the time of payment.

• Refunds are granted only in the event of injury during the group lesson and are calculated from the day after submission of a medical certificate issued by a local hospital or doctor, applying the following rates:

• In case of illness during the group lesson, a medical certificate from a local hospital or doctor allows the issuance of a credit note valid until the end of the current winter season, equivalent to the value of the missed lessons as per the table above.
• For organisational purposes, all medical certificates must be submitted by 18:00.
• Sales invoices must be requested at the time of booking and will be issued within 9 days of payment confirmation.

PRIVATE LESSONS

• For private lessons with a requested instructor, the school reserves the right to replace the instructor at any time for organisational reasons, ensuring the substitute has equivalent qualifications.
• Private lessons may include multiple participants only if their skill levels are comparable. Adults and children cannot take lessons together, as teaching methods and learning levels differ significantly.
• Private lessons booked online or via email must be paid in advance (within 7 days of booking confirmation) by credit or prepaid card (bank transfers are not accepted). If payment is not received, the booking will not be considered valid. For bookings made on shorter notice, payment terms will be indicated by the office.

• Refunds are only possible upon presentation of the receipt issued at the time of payment.

• Refunds are granted only in case of injury during the lesson, from the day after submission of a medical certificate issued by a local hospital or doctor, and apply only to the injured participant. A 10% administration fee will be retained; other participants in the same lesson will not be refunded.

• In case of illness, presenting a medical certificate from a local hospital or doctor allows the issuance of a credit note valid until the end of the current winter season.

• For organisational purposes, all medical certificates must be submitted by 18:00. Refunds or credit notes are calculated from the day following certificate submission.

GROUP LESSONS WITH FEW PARTICIPANTS

• In weeks with low enrolment, if fewer than 5 participants register per level, the school reserves the right to shorten the course duration, reducing lesson hours as indicated in the tables displayed in the office.
