Terms of Sale

The person making the booking declares, by making the payment, that they know, have read and explicitly accepted the terms of sale and contractual conditions. All lessons must be paid for in advance.

BOOKING

A booking is confirmed upon payment of the lesson fee and acceptance of the contractual conditions. For all advance bookings and online payments, payment can be made exclusively by credit card or prepaid card. We do not accept bank transfers, except for cases specifically authorised by our office.

CANCELLATION / WITHDRAWAL

In the event of withdrawal or cancellation, a 48-hour cooling-off period applies from the time the course/lesson booked online is paid for.

Cancellation must be formally submitted in writing by email to info@vajolet.it. Any refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

No refund is provided (including in the event of a change of mind) if the lesson/course is purchased and paid for less than 8 days before its start date.

We nevertheless recommend taking out “Snowcare Lesson” travel insurance, which may cover cancellation, failure to travel, or other unforeseen circumstances.

GENERAL CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS

Each lesson lasts 55 minutes and takes place in all weather conditions.
The price of the lesson does not include equipment or the ski pass.
Please note that skiers must have valid third-party liability insurance covering any damage or injury caused to third parties (pursuant to Article 30 of Legislative Decree No. 40/2021). We also recommend taking out personal accident insurance.
The meeting point for all private and group lessons is at the top of the Buffaure gondola, near our upper office. All participants under 18 must be accompanied to the “meeting point” flag at our ski school area and picked up from the same location at the end of the lessons.
Both private and group lessons take place in all weather conditions. In the event of a complete closure of the lifts, lessons that cannot take place will not be refunded but will be made up, including at other ski resorts.
From 2025, wearing a helmet is mandatory for all skiers.

GROUP COURSES

Group courses cannot be converted into private lessons.
When booking, the age and skill-level categories indicated on our website must be respected. We are not responsible for the skill levels declared by participants when registering for the courses.
All group courses require a minimum number of participants for each level and course type. If there are fewer than 5 participants per level, the ski school reserves the right to shorten the course by reducing the lesson hours according to the tables displayed at our office.
Trial days are non-refundable.
Refunds can only be issued upon presentation of the receipt issued at the time of payment for the lessons.
Refunds are only available in the event of an injury to a student during the course, starting from the day after the medical certificate issued by a local hospital/doctor is submitted. The following rates apply:
- €70.00 per day for full-day courses
- €40.00 per day for half-day courses
- €30.00 per day for 2-hour courses
In the event of illness during the course, provided that a medical certificate issued by a local hospital/doctor is submitted, from the day following submission of the certificate, a voucher will be issued for the value of the missed days, according to the rates shown above. The voucher can be used during the current winter season.
For administrative purposes, any medical certificate must be submitted by 6:00 PM.
Requests for an invoice must be made at the time of booking. The invoice will be issued within 9 days of payment verification.

PRIVATE LESSONS

For private lessons booked with a “requested instructor”, the school reserves the right, for organisational reasons, to replace the instructor at any time with another professional who has the same qualifications requested by the customer.
Private lessons can be attended by multiple people only if the participants have approximately the same skill level. To guarantee a high-quality lesson, adults and children cannot take lessons together, as teaching methods and learning processes are significantly different.
Private lessons booked online or by email must be paid in advance, within 7 days of booking confirmation, by credit card or prepaid card. Bank transfers are not accepted. Otherwise, the booking will not be considered valid. For lessons booked at shorter notice, payment must be made by the date indicated by the office.
Refunds can only be issued upon presentation of the receipt issued at the time of payment.
Refunds are only available in the event of an injury to a student during the lesson, starting from the day after submission of a medical certificate issued by a local hospital/doctor. The refund applies only to the injured/ill person and only to the value of the additional participant, less 10% for administrative and processing costs. Other participants booked for the same lesson will not be refunded.
In the event of illness during the lessons, provided that a medical certificate issued by a local hospital/doctor is submitted, a voucher will be issued for use during the current winter season.
For administrative purposes, any medical certificate must be submitted by 6:00 PM. Any refund will be calculated starting from the day following submission of the certificate.

GROUP COURSES WITH FEW PARTICIPANTS

During periods of low attendance, if a course has FEWER THAN 5 PARTICIPANTS per level, the ski school reserves the right to shorten the course by reducing the lesson hours according to the tables below.
