FAQ

School Rules

We recommend booking online in advance via the “Book Online” page. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee availability when booking on-site.

The meeting point is at our office, at the top of the Buffaure gondola, for both private lessons and group courses. Children under 18 must be accompanied to and picked up from the meeting point at the top of the gondola.

We have agreements with campsites and some hotels during certain periods. For groups, we can arrange special agreements upon request.

Group courses booked online must be paid in full in advance. Otherwise, the booking will not be considered valid, and a place in the course cannot be guaranteed.

For any advance booking and online payments, payment can be made exclusively by credit or prepaid card. We do not accept bank transfers.

At our offices at the bottom and top of the Buffaure gondola, you can pay by POS, credit card or cash.

Meals are included only where explicitly stated.

No, equipment is not included

No, the ski pass is not included.

On the first day of lessons, beginners are advised to purchase a beginners’ ski pass. For subsequent lessons, please ask your instructor directly for advice.

For intermediate and advanced skiers, the Val di Fassa ski pass is sufficient.

The use of an approved helmet is mandatory for anyone accessing the ski slopes with ski or snowboard equipment.

Winter sports are enjoyed outdoors in the fresh mountain air! For us, there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing.

If it snows, skiing is often even more enjoyable than when the sun is shining.

Therefore, lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions. In the event that the lifts are closed, lessons will not be refunded but can be made up at other ski resorts designated by us.

Students are covered directly by the ski school for first aid during lessons in the event of an accident.

However, third-party liability insurance (RC) has been mandatory for all skiers since 2021. This insurance covers any damage caused by the skier and is not included in the lessons; it must be arranged by the customer.

We also recommend taking out travel insurance to cover expenses in case of cancellation, failure to travel, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Group Courses

We offer courses for all ages and skill levels! From children aged 3 and over to adults, from complete beginners who have never skied before to advanced skiers who already ski in parallel. We offer courses for both skiing and snowboarding.

You can find all our available courses on this page.

The meeting point is at our office, at the top of the Buffaure gondola, for both private lessons and group courses. Children under 18 must be accompanied to and picked up from the meeting point at the top of the gondola.

Groups generally consist of around ten people. We do our best to create groups with as homogeneous a skill level as possible, allowing our ski instructors to provide a structured and effective lesson.

If there are not enough participants to form a group, the number of lesson hours will be progressively reduced, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale. If this is not possible, the lessons will be converted into private lessons.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose a specific instructor in advance. Instructors will be assigned to the various groups when the groups are formed at the beginning of the course, according to the school’s organisational needs.

At the beginning of the course, a short assessment will be carried out for both adults and children to evaluate the skiing level of each participant. Based on this assessment, participants will then be assigned to the appropriate course level.

Absolutely! Except for courses held during the Christmas period.

All children’s courses include a small final race on Friday morning, followed by an awards ceremony at the end of the day.

The course days must be consecutive so that the group can progress together through the programme and learn something new each day.

Only in certain cases. Please contact us by email at info@vajolet.it for more information.

We hope nothing happens, of course. However, we have insurance that covers first-aid expenses, which is included in the price of the lesson.

All cases are handled in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.

Private Lessons

The meeting point is at our office, at the top of the Buffaure gondola, for both private lessons and group courses. Children under 18 must be accompanied to and picked up from the meeting point at the top of the gondola.

Yes, provided that all participants have the same skill level. Otherwise, the instructor will not be able to give everyone the same level of attention.

We do not allow this. We recommend taking separate lessons, as teaching methods differ in terms of approach, explanation and learning.

Absolutely! You can request your preferred instructor when making your booking, subject to availability.

We have several instructors who speak English, German, Spanish, French and Russian. You can also try taking a lesson in Ladin, the local language, if you’re feeling adventurous!

It makes no difference whether you start as a beginner with skiing or snowboarding, so the choice is entirely up to you: which one appeals to you more?

Unfortunately, this is very subjective and depends on each person’s aptitude. Generally speaking, we can say that 3 hours of lessons are enough to learn the basics.

A lesson lasts 55 minutes. Of course, you can book multiple consecutive lessons for a more immersive experience.
